will be a maximum of 8 students per tutor. Tea, coffee and biscuits
are available throughout any classroom based courses, free of
charge. We recommend you bring a packed lunch for the lunch
break.
Your
instructors are fully qualified tutors as well as a practicing
professional photographers/designers.

Camera
to computer - the basics Only
£65 |
This
course is classroom based. We will walk you through the basics of
using the various functions of your digital camera, and will help
you to download images from your camera to the computer. Your tutor
will then introduce you to Picasa, a free piece of software from
Google. He will show you how to use Picasa to store, organise and
edit your personal photographs. By the end of this session you will
be able to down load your images to your computer edit them as your
wish resize for printing or emailing to friends and family.

9.45: Connecting your camera and down loading your photographs
to the computer.
10.45: Files and folders, storing and archiving your images.
12.30: Lunch.
1.30: Introduction to image manipulation using Picasa. We
will look at areas such as red eye, cropping, sepia toning, resizing
and much more.
2.30: Time to put this into practice. A practical session
where you will work on your photographs improving and resizing them
using Picasa.
4.15: Conclusion to the day, questions and answers.

course is designed around a location based photo shoot. We will
start the day with a short lecture introducing a series of 10
easy-to-follow steps. These steps will dramatically improve your
photography, and help you to get the best from your digital camera,
regardless of the make or model. Your tutor will be on hand throughout
the day to work with you and to help with any problems you may encounter.

course is designed as an introduction to web design, It will help
you to understand the basics of good design. You will be introduced
to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
